Dr. Marina Bassili

Dr. Bassili is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist and the founder of Ascend Psychological Services, Inc. She specializes in comprehensive mental health evaluations, expert witness testimony, professional consultation, and public speaking. Dr. Bassili is dedicated to providing exceptional psychological support and services to a diverse clientele.

In addition to her clinical and forensic practice, Dr. Bassili serves as faculty at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Pepperdine University and is an assistant editor for the Institute on Violence, Abuse & Trauma (IVAT) journals. She also provides trauma-informed therapy to individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children and families.
